“Gaudino had a play called the “The Assassin” which I did the technical theater work on, the sound and lights. Must have been my junior or senior year, well, I think it was about the assassination of JFK. And we performed it at, was it Griffin, that beautiful old building off of Route 2, because it had that very large room there with the balcony around it. I remember sitting on the balcony running sound and lights, and Gaudino had written this play but he had trouble memorizing his lines. He played the central role, sort of the investigator if you like. I don’t remember the play that well. But I think we ran it over a couple of weekends and he would sort of flub some of his lines. He had trouble with that.
