With my graduation weekend I had a friend whose father was president of a major international bank. Daddy was a big name. Yes, it must have been her graduation because she wanted him to meet Gaudino and Gaudino got into this, you know, this discussion about banking and different things and I remember my friend saying, “Dad was very upset.” And that makes all the sense in the world to me. He can’t let it go. He was never a person, ever, to sit and have a surfacy conversation. He would make it a classroom in almost everything he did. And so a lot of times I loved that, but sometimes it was inappropriate. But that’s who the man was.
