“Do you remember going to the Zorastrian wedding, the ceremony of fire? We had this credo which was learning by experience, but the subtitle was “uncomfortable learning.” And in retrospect, whether it’s the steel works or the Zorastrian wedding or the home stays, meeting the president, Professor Gaudino put more structure into it than was obvious to me at the time. It did tend to kind of pour over me in this multisensory experience.
